Walkinshaw Andretti United has today removed the covers on the Mobil 1™ Optus Racing No. 25 Ford Performance Mustang, with Chaz Mostert behind the wheel for the 2025 Supercars Championship.
Mobil 1 is continuing in their iconic spot on the bonnet of Car No. 25 accompanied by their red Pegasus, a partnership with Walkinshaw Andretti United which dates back to 1994.
Optus have returned as Co-Naming Rights Partner for their fourth year, keeping the Team connected in 2025 right around the country. The vibrant teal can be seen throughout the car alongside the Optus logo which is visible on the side of Car No. 25, with their signature Yes on the roof.
The fan-favourite black, teal and white colour scheme for Car No. 25 is back, brought to life by PPG, Spicers and Signzone.
Morris returns as a Platinum Partner for their 15th year, a partnership which extends beyond the race team but also business-wide, alongside Chemical Guys, the Team’s Official Car Care Partner who are world leaders in the detailing and car care industry.
This year, we welcome back Niterra Australia – formerly NGK Spark Plugs Australia who specialise in ignition and vehicle electronics. They first joined the Team in 1994 for a 22-year partnership, so it’s fantastic to have them back.
Returning also in 2025 is Ford Performance, Supercheap Auto, CoreStaff, Kangan Institute, Move My Wheels, Palm Trans, Coates, Thetford, Lloyds Auctions, Anthem Workwear, Raceline Racewear, OMP, Authentic Collectables, Acronis, Think Technology, Oakley, Stratasys, GEARWRENCH, TPF Sports, East Coast Lubes and Design Ears.
In 2025, Walkinshaw Andretti United are delighted to welcome new partners Loctite, Employment Hero, Under Armour and previously mentioned Niterra Australia. This year, TCL Hoffman’s branding will be swapped with Objective 3D after an acquisition in 2024.
Chaz Mostert will jump behind the wheel of the Mobil 1 Optus Racing No. 25 for the first test day at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 19th ahead of Round 1 of the Supercars Championship which takes pace under lights later that week.
Mostert - Mobil 1 Optus Racing
“The fans loved the black livery on the Mobil 1 Optus Racing No. 25 last year and we just had to keep it for them again this year. We’ve added a bit more colour which really makes the car pop, it’s an enhanced version of the ’24 car and I can’t wait for everyone to see it in person.
“I think one of the most pleasing things for me every year is to see how many partners we have that have continued on with our team, there’s so much loyalty all across the car, whether it’s Mobil 1 and Optus, but also Morris who have been around for 15 years this year, Niterra returning, it’s just really cool to feel that support each year.
“The team has worked extremely hard during the off season, yet again, it’s about time we head out on track and show this bad boy off! It’s going to be a big year, Car 25 in ’25 has a pretty good ring to it, so we are all pretty keen to make it one to remember.”
Bruce Stewart - CEO, Walkinshaw Andretti United
“It’s great to remove the covers of both our Ford Performance Mustang’s for 2025, the Mobil 1 Optus Racing No. 25 looks impeccable. Black is back, which was an overwhelming response from the fans, it’s always cool to see that passion.
“Once again, it’s amazing to have the support of our extensive partner network who are essential to how we go racing. Our relationship with Mobil 1 goes back an incredible 32 years, Optus have been a great partner for our team and Chaz, and do some really important things on and off track with us, and this year we celebrate an amazing milestone with Morris, which is 15-years together. Every single partner we have plays an essential role in us going racing.
“Having Niterra back in the family is fantastic, we’ve got a long, storied relationship with them through their NGK Spark Plugs brand, and it’s fantastic to welcome Loctite, Employment Hero, and Under Armour to our team for this season.
“It’s a huge year ahead for Chaz, we came close last year, but it really hurt us all not being in the fight for the championship on the final weekend. The finals format will mix things up this year, which will be extremely exciting for everyone, but we need to start on the right foot to ensure we are in the hunt on the last Sunday.
