Walkinshaw TWG Racing has today unveiled its challengers for the 2026 Supercars Championship, marking a significant milestone for both the team and the category.
Today, the covers have come off both the Mobil 1™ Optus Racing No. 1 Toyota GR Supra and the Mobil 1™ Truck Assist Racing No. 2 Toyota GR Supra, to be piloted by Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood respectively.
Mobil 1 continues its iconic presence on the bonnet of both entries with the return of the red Pegasus, extending Walkinshaw TWG Racing’s longest standing partnership as they enter their 33rd Supercars season with the Team.
Optus has extended their partnership with the Team on a multi-year agreement as Co-Naming Rights Partner for Car No. 1 on a multi-year deal, entering a fifth consecutive season alongside Mostert. Optus’ distinctive teal features prominently throughout the livery, with the Optus logo visible on the side of Car No. 1 with their signature Yes showcased on the roof.
Truck Assist also returns as Co-Naming Rights Partner for Car No. 2, following the team’s earlier announcement confirming the continuation of the partnership. The brand’s signature orange is integrated throughout the livery, with Truck Assist branding displayed on the doors and roof.
Walkinshaw TWG Racing’s Toyota Australia era kicks up a gear as well, with two cars ready for the season ahead. Visible on the rear three quarters of both entries is the iconic red and white GR branding, and famous Toyota logo front and rear, and the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Australia logo on both window banners.
The striking liveries for both entries were brought to life by PPG, Signzone and Spicers.

Ringers Western has joined the team as a Platinum Partner, and Official Workwear Partner of the Team in 2026, alongside JB Caravans, one of Australia’s leading caravan manufacturers, who have increased their support with the team.

“The Mobil 1 Optus Racing Toyota GR Supra looks fantastic, the black satin with the teal makes the racing curves stand out, I’m excited for everyone to see it in person.
“It obviously means a lot to the team to run the No. 1 and 2, there’s a heap of history there and I hope everyone is really proud to walk past it every day.
“It’s great to have Mobil 1 and Optus back on board supporting myself and the team for another incredible season. Growing up my favourite drivers were Mobil 1 ambassadors so it’s surreal to be one myself and with Optus, we have done some cool work together with their Optus Digital Thumbprint program which I look forward to continuing in the future.
“Ryan and I have an incredible opportunity this year, to be the first official Toyota Supercars drivers in Australia for its entry into the Supercars Championship, we will be doing everything we can to make our mark on the sport.”

“I started my circuit racing career in the New Zealand Toyota 86 Series so it’s a full circle moment for me driving a Toyota GR Supra Supercar this year.
“I’m so proud to be representing Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing for my third year in the Supercars Championship, they have been my number one supporters since joining the category and I want to do them, and all of our partners, proud this season.
“The team have worked so hard over what we call the off season, but it definitely wasn’t an off season for them, I couldn’t ask for a better bunch of guys and girls in this team.
“Being only 22 years old and helping lead a factory team for Toyota is super exciting, it’s going to be a massive year and I’m excited to get to work.”
Bruce Stewart - CEO, Walkinshaw TWG Racing
“We are absolutely honoured to finally reveal our Mobil 1 Optus Racing No. 1 Toyota GR Supra and Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing No. 2 Toyota GR Supra to the public. Toyota’s entry and these race cars are a game changer, and the trust and commitment placed in our team is something not lost on any of us.
“The entire Walkinshaw TWG Racing team have done an incredible job to get these cars to this point, every single department and staff member has played a critical role in making this a reality. It’s been one of the biggest off-seasons we’ve ever experienced, there’s been hardly a day off since Adelaide, but I couldn’t be prouder of the effort, commitment and level of delivery.
“It’s amazing to have the support of our extensive partner network, we wouldn’t be able to go racing without them. We enter 33 Supercars seasons with Mobil 1 this year whilst we celebrate five years of Co-Naming Rights Partnerships with both Optus and Truck Assist who have been incredible supporters of us, Chaz and Ryan.
“Every single partner of ours, returning and new, plays a key role in what we do, on and off track. We are so lucky to have all of their support, without them, we simply don’t go racing.
“We’ve got two stunning GR Supra’s ready for round 1, the number 1 on Chaz’s car which is a real honour to see, and a group of people as hungry as ever. We know the challenge in front of us, but we are ready for it all.

Felicity Ross - Chief Corporate Affairs & Marketing Officer, Optus
“At Optus, connecting Australians to the moments and experiences they love is at the heart of what we do — and few things ignite that passion like Supercars. As we enter our fifth consecutive year as Co Naming Rights Partner with Walkinshaw TWG Racing and reigning champion Chaz Mostert, we’re incredibly proud to continue this journey together.
“This partnership is about more than what happens on track. It’s about bringing fans and our customers closer to the energy, excitement and community that make this sport so special. Seeing Chaz carry the No. 1 into the new season is a milestone for the team, and a moment we’re thrilled to share with Supercars fans across the country.
“The sport has an unmatched ability to connect people far and wide, and we’re proud to play a role in supporting that connection throughout the 2026 season.
“We can’t wait for the year ahead and to stand alongside Walkinshaw TWG Racing as this next chapter takes to the track.”
Jason Kibsgaard - Head of Marketing, NTI

“The strength of the long-standing partners, alongside the number of new sponsors coming on board, is a real reflection of the culture, commitment and results this team delivers. It’s something we’re truly value and are proud to be part of.
“The new Truck Assist livery looks fantastic. It’s bold, but sleek, and it highlights the body of the Toyota GR Supra perfectly. We can’t wait to see it out on track at full speed.
“There’s a real sense of momentum heading into 2026, and we’re wishing Ryan and everyone involved a safe and successful season ahead.”

Together, we’ve taken this car from the road to the racetrack, pushing through setbacks and breaking new ground. We’re excited to finally be here, and ready to see what we can achieve on the grid - this is just the beginning!”
