This weekend at the Newcastle 500, Walkinshaw Andretti United, Appliances Online and Bosch Appliances Australia have partnered up to provide $20,000 of Bosch Appliances to those in need.

Bosch have kindly donated the appliances, while Appliances Online have offered their legendary service to deliver the items to the GIVIT charity once the scale of this tragic disaster is fully understood.

Additionally, WAU, through the support of Winning Appliances, are currently auctioning the race suits of both James Courtney and Scott Pye that will be worn at this weekend’s race through Lloyds Auctions. All proceeds of the auctions will be donated to the Salvation Army.

Walkinshaw Andretti United would also like to take the opportunity to pay tribute to the firefighters and volunteers who are working tirelessly to help the communities in crisis.

We encourage all Supercars fans and partners to help affected areas of New South Wales and Queensland to rebuild their lives and homes.

Ryan Walkinshaw - Walkinshaw Andretti United Director

“I cannot even begin to imagine what those affected are currently going through, it puts everything into perspective.

“We can’t thank Appliances Online and Bosch Appliances Australia enough for their support. We hope that this helps those in need get back to normality as quickly as possible.

“It would be remiss no to thank the people on the front line fighting the fires and helping the families in need right now. They are the heroes.”

John Winning - CEO of Winning Group and Founder of Appliances Online

“As a century old Australian family business, we recognise the importance of helping our community in times of need and we are approaching this in the spirit of our company value, One In All In. As such, Appliances Online will be working together with Bosch and Walkinshaw Andretti United to deliver appliances to those who have been impacted by the devastating fires.”

About Appliances Online

John Winning founded Appliances Online in 2005 with a laptop, a rented truck, and a 1300 number diverted to a mobile phone. Also vital in the business start-up was an unfaltering belief in online retailing as the only way to service the growing number of time-poor consumers who appreciate the efficiency of shopping online. Appliances Online now employs upwards of 250 people and is Australia’s largest online retailer of appliances, delivering to the majority of the population, and stocking more brands than any other online whitegoods or appliance retailer, at extremely competitive prices.
